There is a place, a little corner of paradise, where the views are majestic, the climate mild, the landscape peaceful and relaxing. This place, known and frequented since Roman times, a fragment of the Mediterranean enclosed between the mighty chains of the Alps, is Valtènesi. Situated between the amphitheatre of moraine hills and the shores of Lake Garda, the Valtènesi stretches from the gulf of Salò to the gulf of Desenzano and now includes 16 municipalities, most of which are visually connected by their castles.
For centuries the Valtènesi was a beautiful but very poor agricultural region. And even though today tourism has brought greater wealth and prosperity by sacrificing the rural landscape, a part of it has remained intact, elegant and romantic as it once was.
In this place, wine and olive productionhave always played a fundamental role, not only economically but also socially and culturally.

Our efforts have always been directed towards the protection and preservation of this territory, its peculiarities, its biodiversity and its uniqueness. In most of our vineyards we cultivate Groppello, the only indigenous grape of the area; without the Groppello there would be no Chiaretto: a wine that reflects, in its scents and flavours, the minerality and salinity of the calcareous and stony soils typical of the moraine hills and that, in a romantic way, is said to take its soft pink colour from the marvellous sunsets of the Valtènesi.
